What is Nutritional Therapy?

Nutritional Therapy is an evidence-based approach to health and well-being.

In addition to establishing your nutritional needs, Nutritional Therapy considers lifestyle factors that might be influencing your health.

It is getting harder and harder to stay healthy in today's environment, and when symptoms such as sleep and digestive issues, lack of energy and brain fog threaten to dominate, it makes it even harder to make the best health decisions.  I want to help you make sense of all of the conflicting advice out there.

Working together, we will learn what you need to be eating and why.

What Nutritional Therapy is

It is a personalised approach which:

  • uses food primarily and supplements if necessary, as well as lifestyle changes as a means of bringing the body back into balance

  • discovers the underlying factors and root causes contributing to your current health status

  • recognises that health issues do not arise in isolation but instead considers how all of the body systems interact

  • treats each person as an individual - we are all biologically and biochemically unique

  • relies on science and evidence-based research

  • will support you in making realistic, sustainable changes

What Nutritional Therapy isn’t

  • therapist-centered: we work together as a team to get the best results for you (what you put in you get out)

  • a quick fix or an overnight solution

  • a one-size-fits-all approach
